Keep your practice going

Find a nice outdoor space (we are so lucky in Kent as there are plenty) and go through sun salutations...even just one round

Sit down on the grass and feel the base of your pelvis ,the ischial tuberosities (sitting bones) press against the earth...comfortably cross your legs (maybe knees propped) or sit on a chair or lie down

Find that sense of the body being totally stable , totally held...

From this feeling of stability....elongate your spine....gracefully...think of a flower unfurling...sense where your shoulders, belly ,neck and head are...

ree

Breathe through the nose  into the centre of the chest ..the heart space....

Allow the thoughts that are with you to arise and as this happens think of all the good things in our lives and the people who help us to be.....

Acknowledge the gratitude you have for others....maybe even the complicated ones , who make us think hard and challenge us...maybe the positioning that these relationships achieve help us to really appreciate the less complex relationships , maybe you can see the way these difficult relationships , like difficult postures , can help us in some way...

Have we told those people who support us how much we appreciate them...perhaps a visit , a call,  a text ???? An acknowledgement now in this moment

Level the jaw, adjust the shoulders

Allow the breath to be natural , enjoy the stillness and maybe the bird song

Maybe just 5 mins

Namaste ( The self in me bows down and honours that same self in you)

Love this, Si. I am going to record it so that once I am in my chosen outdoor spot I can press play and be guided by your words. Thank you 💚
